The KITT4SME Webinar “KITT4SME pilot AI kit to control the quality of welding process” will be on 29th of February 2024 from 11 -12 CEST on Zoom.

The purpose of the webinar is to demonstrate the possibilities of using artificial intelligence to control the quality of welded joints in the high-volume production process of battery packs which are the main component of power supply for excavators.

This webinar will discuss the advantages of using artificial intelligence for quality control in welding joints, highlighting issues related to AI implementation, reliability, efficiency, and potential applications in other areas. It specifically addresses challenges in data preparation, especially when machine data lacks standard formats, and explores issues related to process variability and human factors influencing control parameters.

Despite the difficulties encountered in the implementation of AI, a pilot implementation of KITT4SME at WAMTECHNIK will eventually be presented, both from the side of the cracked AI tools and the methodology adopted for their practical use. The additional benefits that were obtained from the implementation of the presented solutions, which significantly supported the ability of neighboring areas to analyze the process, will also be indicated.

Taking into account that the presented solutions can be used in basically any area and process related to quality control, the webinar is recommended both for companies interested in supporting this area, as well as for researchers and other users of artificial intelligence.
