The KITT4SME Webinar “KITT4SME pilot AI kit to control the quality of welding process” took place on Thursday, February 29th, with the participation of 31 attendees.

The webinar showcased the utilization of artificial intelligence to monitor and enhance the quality of welded joints in the high-volume production of battery packs, integral for providing power to excavators.

The webinar delved into the benefits of employing artificial intelligence for quality control in welding joints, addressing key considerations such as AI implementation challenges, reliability, efficiency, and potential applications in diverse fields. It specifically addressed challenges in data preparation, especially when machine data lacks standard formats, and explores issues related to process variability and human factors influencing control parameters.

The KITT4SME WAM pilot was presented, considering both the end user adoption perspective and the deployment of this AI solution by the technology provider.
