The event took place on 12th of July 2022 at 10:00 CEST with the participation of around 50 participants, The presenters have given information about the project, the KITT4SME platform and the Type-B. open call. This time the funding amount provided by the open call is up to 200.000 EUR per consortia and the total budget of the call is EUR 1,5 million. The open calls will receive proposals until the 12th of August 2022.

 

The presentations

In his presentation, Andrea Bettoni, the project coordinator, has described the project, presented the KITT4SME Platform briefly and explained how the AI solution providers and the end users in manufacturing industries can benefit from it. Giuseppe Landolfi, who is a senior lecturer and researcher in SUPSI has presented the architecture overview and the technical requirements for integrating an AI solution to the KITT4SME Platform. Salvatore Alivesi, the chief operations officer of Ideal-Tek S.A. has described how AI is changing their shop floor in tweezer manufacturing. Davorka Moslavac Forjan, the DIHs manager from ICENT shows the benefits of KITT4SME for the DIHs. Themis Kolyvas, the Open Call Manager from European Dynamics has given all the details about the open calls, the eligibility criteria and the expected activities in his presentation.

 

Brokerage Session

The event continued with the brokerage session which the representatives from the AI providers, end users and the participants from the universities, clusters and DIHs have found the chance to meet each other on one-on-one sessions to establish partnerships to apply for the Type-B open call as a team.
